Stress has become the main ingredient in our lives; So much that it makes us "normal" to be stressed

There are several types of stress: the one we can handle and the one that we get out of control. With the multiple pressures we make the stress get out of control causing our adrenal glands, whose function is the production of adrenaline, DHEA, and cortisol; Work more until the demand for cortisol is so much that it provokes a chronic fatigue, producing after an adrenal fatigue.

Cortisol is the stress hormone that also regulates blood sugar levels, protein, fatty acids, avoid allergies, provide a good immune system, control inflammation, in general, to provide a feeling of wellbeing. Both high levels and low blood cortisol can cause hormonal imbalances, mainly in the thyroid and testosterone; Also when it is much stress that we are suffering we need progesterone in order to produce more cortisol which results in an imbalance between estrogen and progesterone causing changes in mood, energy, muscle mass… among other

Low cortisol symptoms: Chronic fatigue, allergies, asthma, susceptible to disease, infections, arthritis, fibromyalgia

Elevated cortisol symptoms: loss of muscle and bone mass, increased abdominal fat, high blood sugar, many cravings for sugar-rich foods, insulin resistance, elevated blood pressure, low immune system, memory problems, sleep and of humor
